- GREGY will transfer 3,000 MW of GREEN ENERGY to Greece and Europe, creating a GREEN ENERGY CORRIDOR linking two continents.
- The Project has been included in the 1st PCI/PMI List of the European Commission.
- The Project will transfer 100% clean energy produced from RES in Egypt; part of the energy will be consumed by the Greek industry, part will be used for the production of green H2 in the country and part for export to E.U. countries.
- Contributes to both the Climate Change and the Greenhouse Effect prevention. Fully aligned with EU’s Green Deal objectives.
- Replaces up to 4.5 bcm of natural gas annually.
- Contributes to the reduction of CO2 emissions by 10 mil. tons annually.
- Enhances energy security.
